New Clip From Anton Corbijn Inside Out

Featuring Lou Reed's Pesci impression!

Best known in movie circles for his stellar work on Control and his existential muse-athon hitman thriller The American, Anton Corbijn has been lending his uncanny eye to rock bands like U2 and Depeche Mode for more than two decades.

He's not a man who craves the limelight, happier beavering away behind the camera, so Anton Corbijn Inside Out, a new fly-on-the-wall doc, is a particularly intriguing look at the man and his art. This clip gives a glimpse of some of the cracking footage captured by Dutch filmmaker Klaartje Quirijns.

Gold for budding snappers, sure, but plenty too for movie fans. Quirijns trailed Corbijn during the shooting of The American before he reverted to still photography for Metallica and Lou Reed's 'Lulu' album. Watch the results for its insights into the film and music biz, or watch it because Lou Reed's impersonation of Tommy DeVito is extraordinary.

Anton Corbijn Inside Out gets a limited theatrical release on September 14 before doing the DVD thing three days later. Will be well worth a look.
