Since that their stealthily-made, real-life SEALs action movie Act Of Valor opened well at the box office, co-directors Mike “Mouse” McCoy and Scott Waugh have been ploughing ahead with future projects. While their current job is reuniting for Arnie-starring thriller Black Sands, they’ve also both got solo projects bubbling away, with McCoy setting up a trip to God’s Gulch.

The drama, scripted by Brooks McLaren and based on an idea he cooked up with McCoy, follows what happens when the world’s computer network shuts down. Society, as it is so wont to do is such situations, collapses, and a group must fight to survive.

McLaren seems to have a thing for apocalyptic drama scenarios: his Black List script H****ow It Ends (about an expectant father journeying to be with his wife through a ruined civilization) is already being developed by the Sierra/Affinity company for Breck Eisner to make.

McCoy, meanwhile, will bring his ads experience and what he learned from co-directing Valor to the table. As with both that film and Waugh’s recently-announced project High Speed, it’ll be entirely funded by the pair’s Bandito Brothers company, so they’ll get to keep any profits and plough them back into future movies…
