McKenna Grace

She's going to be threatened by a possessed doll in this summer's Annabelle Comes Home, but McKenna Grace is clearly not afraid of no ghosts. How else to explain the fact that she's joining the cast of the new Ghostbusters film.

Jason Reitman is directing the follow-up to the original two 1980s movies crafted by his father Ivan, which will see Carrie Coon as a woman with a connection to the original characters. Grace and Finn Wolfhard are playing her kids, with the focus on them as part of a group of four teens. And that's about all that Sony has allowed to sneak out about the film so far.

With a script by the director and Gil Kenan, the movie should be shooting this summer, with a release date on the books for 10 July next year.

Grace is enjoyed a busy time of work – she's on screen as the young Carol Danvers in Captain Marvel, and, as mentioned above, Annabelle Comes Home arrives to spook us on 28 June.
