Disney has been surprisingly quiet regarding its next animated feature, Marvel adaptation Big Hero 6. We’d have thought it would take advantage of the Frozen success to debut a new look at the movie, but that has not been the case. There haven’t even been official voice casting announcements, but now The Wrap has heard that Maya Rudolph will be lending her tonsil talents alongside T.J. Miller and Jamie Chung.

Big Hero 6, which will be linked to the Marvel universe but is unlikely to feature any real crossover with the MCU, focuses on young robotics prodigy Hiro Hamada, who joins forces with a rag-tag group of crime fighters to stop a criminal gang threatening his home city, San Fransokyo.

While a young cast is expected to snatch the majority of the roles, Miller is rumoured as Fredzilla, a man able to turn himself into a giant, Godzilla-style lizard, while Chung is linked to the role of Go Go Tomago, a young woman named Leiko Tanaka who uses a power suit to battle enemies. Rudolph’s character is yet to be revealed, and Disney hasn’t confirmed any of the casting choices, so have that grain of salt handy.

Don Hall and Chris Williams are sharing directorial duties for this one, with Hall and co-writer Jordan Roberts adapting Duncan Rouleau and Steven T. Seagle’s comic. Some early footage from the movie is the only real glimpse we’ve gotten so far, but it certainly looks gorgeous from that snippet.

**Big Hero 6 **hits the US on November 7, but we’ll have to wait until February 13, 2015 to see it here.
