Lucas Till Back For X-Men: Days Of Future Past

Bryan Singer posts Havok pic on Twitter

Even with Comic-Con about to descend, the ideal arena, you'd think, at which to make further announcements about X-Men: Days Of Future Pas**t**, sneaky ol’ Bryan Singer just can’t stay away from Twitter. His latest Twitpic from the movie features the revelation than Lucas Till is back as Alex Summers, AKA Havok.

"Mankind must put an end to war before war puts an end to mankind." -JFK @lucastill #xmen #DaysOfFuturePast

Yes, it would appear that almost anyone who's even been close to the X-Men franchise is back for this one, barring the likes of Rose Byrne and January Jones (although who knows – the film is still shooting!)

It’s not clear what Havok dressed in an army uniform and surrounded by what appear to be other mutants signifies, but that quote from JFK certainly does seem to signify he’s part of a conflict in the First Class era (albeit with the younger mutants moved forward a few years). Oh, and some other little details have leaked pre-Con, but only take a look if you're not worried about potential spoilers.

Till is part of a cast that includes Ian McKellen, Hugh Jackman, Patrick Stewart, James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, Jennifer Lawrence, Nicholas Hoult, Anna Paquin, Ellen Page, Shawn Ashmore, Peter Dinklage, Omar Sy, Halle Berry, Daniel Cudmore, Fan Bingbing, Evan Peters, Josh Helman and Booboo Stewart. It will see the X-Men fighting to stop a dark future where mutants are murdered or rounded up into concentration camps.

More info about the film will no doubt become clear when the panel happens on Saturday at Comic-Con. And X-Men: Days Of Future Past arrives on our screens on July 18 next year.
