If you’ve spent months piecing together LEGO’s gigantic Ultimate Collector Series version of the Millennium Falcon, you’ll either never want to see another brightly-colored brick ever again – or you’ll be desperately looking for your next construction challenge. If you’re a film buff in the latter camp, the Danish toy company has just the thing for you: a huge Hogwarts Castle set, bringing Harry Potter’s magic school to life in 6020 pieces. It’s LEGO’s second-biggest kit ever, behind only Han Solo’s beloved ship.

The set recreates all of Potter’s school stomping grounds, from the Great Hall and Dumbledore’s office, to the Room of Requirement and the Defense Against the Dark Arts classroom. Then under the castle’s foundations you’ll find the likes of Chamber of Secrets and the wizard chess chamber from The Philosopher’s Stone. The set comes with four full-sized mini figures – Godric Gryffindor, Salazar Slytherin, Rowena Ravenclaw and Helga Hufflepuff – and a bunch of teeny microfigures representing Harry and friends (and non-friends, Voldemort and Bellatrix Lestrange are in there). Oh, and there are also Dementors, a Hungarian Horntail dragon, the Whomping Willow (complete with Ford Anglia entangled in the branches), Hagrid’s Hut with Aragog figure… in short, it’s the ultimate Harry Potter LEGO set.

Sadly pointing a wand and shouting ‘Accio!’ won’t bag you the set for free – and you might need a few gold Galleons set aside, because it comes with a £349.99 price tag. It’s hitting the shelves on 1 September, so you’ve got a month to get saving. Thankfully some smaller and less pricey Potter sets – including separate Great Hall, Hogwarts Express, Whomping Willow and Quidditch Match kits – are arriving on 1 August, in case a Gringotts raid or a spot of last-minute alchemy doesn’t seem possible.
