Leaves Of Grass Teaser Online

Edward Norton smokes out

Edward Norton's new comic thriller, Leaves Of Grass, sees the actor taking a leaf out of Nicholas Cage's book and play twin-brothers-at-loggerheads, one an academic, the other a pothead with a molasses-thick Southern accent. The film played well at the Toronto Film Festival - Roger Ebert hailed it as the best to premiere there - and the new teaser trailer gives us the dope.

Not to be confused with the Walt Whitman anthology, Leaves Of Grass brings together Harvard philosophy Bill Kincaid (Norton) with his slacker twin brother, Brady (ditto), a small-time Oklahoma drug dealer who lures him into his narcotic scheming by faking his death. From there, things get interesting as Bill tries to extricate from a situation that involves more than its fair share of psychotic rednecks, and the intriguing prospect of Richard Dreyfuss as a drugs baron.

Leaves Of Grass also co-stars Susan Sarandon as the Kincaid's sharp-as-a-tack mom, while Norton is reunited with his The Incredible Hulk co-star, Tim Blake Nelson, who wrote, directs, and makes a cameo appearance in the movie. The film's out on DVD on February 21, 2011.
