The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles are here to stay in their current, Michael Bay-produced form whether we're thrilled about that or not. A sequel, Out Of The Shadows, is rushing towards us, and to remind us of that, the Super Bowl TV spot launched last night. Have a gander below or at the full Super Bowl trailer-athon here.

Not much about the story is revealed here, though we do see more of new tench-villains Rocksteady and Bebop, and, more importantly, alien creature Krang living inside his usual robotic carrying unit. Mostly on display here are the Turtle touchstones – the interaction between the brothers, their tricked-out truck, lots of jumping, fighting, falling and general madness and the return of Megan Fox's April O'Neil.

With Arrow's Stephen Amell the new recruit as vigilante Casey Jones, the sequel definitely seems to be amping up the comedy elements and looking to edge closer to the style of the '80s cartoons. Which will please some fans of the franchise, but may disappoint others. Can this new film garner better reviews than the first? We'll learn the answer to that question when it hits UK cinemas on June 3.
