Harry Dunne (Jeff Daniels) and Lloyd Christmas (Jim Carrey) are back back back. We know this for sure because Carrey posted a couple of photos of the pair in costume as they began shooting Dumb And Dumber T****o. With Peter and Bobby Farrelly back directing, the sequel has now added Jennifer Lawrence and Rob Riggle.
Well, we say Lawrence is aboard: she popped in to the Atlanta set to shoot a one-day commitment as a younger version of Katherine Turner’s character, Fraida Feltcher. Riggle, meanwhile, will be twins{
The pair joins a cast that already includes Daniels, Carrey, Turner, Rachel Melvin, Laurie Holden, Steve Tom, Cam Neely and Lindsay Ayliffe for the story of Lloyd and Harry heading out to find Harry’s long-lost daughter to provide him with a kidney transplant. Along the way, they run into acquaintances old and new and, we’d hazard a guess, get into trouble.
With Bennett Yellin and Mike Cerrone joining the directors for script duty, the upsettingly-titled film should be out next summer, just in time to celebrate the original movie’s 20th anniversary. Anyone else suddenly feeling old?
