Jai Courtney Up For A Felony

After blowing up / shooting/ smart-mouthing everything in Moscow as John McClane’s son as part of A Good Day To Die Hard, you’d think Jai Courtney would be ready to play something other than a copper. But he’s back on the beat for Felony, which will see him star alongside Joel Edgerton and Tom Wilkinson.

Felony finds Edgerton as a decorated cop driving home from celebrating a major gang bust with his colleagues. He’s had a few tinnies and he runs a cyclist off the road. Instead of taking responsibility, he decides to lie and cover the incident up. Naturally, nothing bad happens to him because of that.

Kidding! He attracts the attention of Wilkinson’s top ‘tec and Courtney’s fresh-faced colleague, who suspects Edgerton is lying and starts to work up a criminal case against him.

Matthew Seville is getting set to direct the film this month in Sydney. And before he’s ever seen as a heroic type, Courtney will turn up as a villain making trouble for Tom Cruise in Jack Reacher, which arrives here on December 26.
