Adrien Brody and John Cusack getting their Gladiator on as warring Romans? With Jackie Chan’s military leader entering the fray? There’s something you don’t see every day, but you will if you watch the Dragon Blade trailer.

A fictional tale of conflict and lots of shouting, Dragon Blade is set roughly two thousand years ago, when a mysterious legion of warriors marches along the infamous Silk Road. Turns out they’re led by Lucius (Cusack), on his way to protect Publius (Jozef Liu Waite) from the evil machinations of his uncle Tiberius (Brody). But when Lucius is framed as a traitor, he’ll have to join forces with Huo An (Chan), Commander of the Silk Road Protection Squad of the Western Region and go up against Tiberius’ massive military might. And you know what that means: Fight! Fight! Fight!

This one has been flying fairly low under the radar, but looks like it could provide some fun moments here and there, with Brody and Cusack giving it their all and Chan doing what he does best – be a watchable warrior. Dragon Blade will be in cinemas and on demand on January 15.
