Opinion is divided among certain members of the Empire office about whether The Wire is the greatest TV show ever or simply the greatest thing ever. Either way, it's pretty darn good - so colour us excited about the DVD release of the follow-up from creators David Simon and Ed Burns, Generation Kill. And here's a world exclusive clip from the show.
Generation Kill is a mini-series following the fortunes of the 1st Recon Marines during the 2003 invasion of Iraq, based on the book by Rolling Stone reporter Evan Wright. It's got the same microscopic attention to detail as The Wire but, y'know, with bigger guns.
The series is out on DVD on Monday March 9.
