Ben Wheatley's latest, Sightseers, is shaping up to be a doozy, a bleakly hilarious British Badlands or 'On The B-Road', if you want to be all Kerouac-y about it. The film has four new character posters – well, if a caravan can be a character – to show off, with Steve Oram and Alice Lowe to the fore as the roadtripping odd couple, Chris and Tina.
Look closely at the posters and you'll get a pretty decent sense of the mix of mirth and the macabre that spikes Ben Wheatley's **Kill List **follow-up. And just in case you didn't know already, Sightseers takes Chris, Tina, their caravan and that dog on a jaunt around some of northern England's most idiosyncratic tourist attractions.
