Sounds Like Teen Spirit is one of those documentaries that comes along every now and again and charms everyone's socks off. This time the focus is on the Junior Eurovision Song Contest, and four contestants who set off to it with high hopes and, in some cases, even higher hair. And here's an exclusive clip from the film.

This glimpse focuses on one of our featured contestants, 13 year-old Mariam from Georgia. After winning the national heats of her wartorn, impoverished country, Mariam becomes a minor celebrity, but she still lives in a small apartment with her family, who cannot all afford to accompany her to the show.

If you haven't heard of Junior Eurovision, by the way, that's because the UK doesn't enter it. But it's massive around the rest of the continent, honest.

Directed by up-and-coming Brit director Jamie Jay Johnson, the film's out on Friday May 8 and the review is available for your perusal here.
