His one-time co-writer and hetero-life-partner Matt Damon has already appeared in a poker movie - Rounders, which sees John Malkovich eating the hell out of some Oreos - but now it's Ben Affleck's turn with Runner, Runner, and here's an exclusive poster to prove it. Given Affleck's real-life love of the game, we're just surprised it took this long.
Directed by The Lincoln Lawyer's Brad Furman, the film sees Affleck's gambling god Ivan Block going head-to-head with Princeton poker prodigy Richie Furst (Justin TImberlake) after the latter is duped by one of the former's online gaming scams and eventually becomes his protege. Anthony Mackie plays the cop after both of them, while Gemma Arterton is the love interest who - wait for it - ups the ante.
Runner, Runner - which also boasts Leonardo DiCaprio as a producer - is out in the UK on September 27. Prepare for a river of further poker puns in the build up to its release.
