Masked vigilantes have been the in thing for some time now but one look at Gerald McMorrow's **Franklyn **should tell you that this isn't your average superhero saga.
Juxtaposing modern London with an an alternate equivalent called Meanwhile City, where the population live under the yoke of theocratic dictatorship, Ryan Phillipe prowls the streets in a headpiece that makes him look disturbingly like David Cronenberg in Nightbreed.
