Here's a nice Bank Holiday sort of a featurette for you. You may not learn much about the nuts and bolts of filmmaking from this behind-the-scenes look at Richard Curtis' About Time, but you will feel like you've had a short break on the Cornish coast in the company of some very charming people.

brightcove.createExperiences();The film sees Domhnall Gleeson play Tim, whose dad (Bill Nighy) informs him - after he turns 21 - that he has an innate ability to travel in time. He uses his powers to help land the girl of his dreams, Mary (Rachel McAdams) but only after some comedy mishaps along the way. Without saying too much more, the film doesn't go quite where you think it will, and doesn't paint time-travel as an entirely carefree romp.

**About Time **hits cinemas on September 4, and also stars Tom Hollander, Lindsay Duncan, Margot Robbie and Lee Asquith-Coe. There's more on Domhnall Gleeson in the forthcoming issue of Empire, out this Thursday August 29.
