Start blasting out Jane's Addiction's 'Superhero' from the pumped-up speakers in the back of your convertible, because the often-mooted-but-never-finalised Entourage Movie is back in business, pending some last minute signature scribbling.

The HBO show's writer/showrunner/creator Doug Ellin tweeted the words "It's a go. Love to you all." with the photo above. This comes after Turtle himself, Jerry Ferrara, mentioned on a chat show that the film's chances were "looking real good" just days earlier.

There have long been plans to take Johnny Drama and the rest of Vinny Chase's crew to the big screen, even as the last episode of the eighth and final season was aired in September 2011.

A script was written a year later (boasting a setting six months after the last episode), but with difficulties getting everyone to sign on the dotted line - with Jeremy Piven one of the key players reluctant to get back on board - and time to use California's tax breaks running out, it seemed less and less likely. Then, suddenly, there was a breakthrough this month, and the cast and crew are now hoping to reunite for a January 2013 shoot. Fingers crossed they'll be able to rustle up some cameos as good as these...

The series was loosely based on the life and times of Mark Wahlberg, and he'll be on board in a producing capacity. You can hear the man himself talking about the movie adaptation plans on the **Empire Podcast **below. Details on when you'll actually be able to watch the film itself as soon as we get them.
