Has nobody learned that if you venture away from civilization with Wolf Creek director Greg Mclean, bad things happen to you? Daniel Radcliffe is apparently unafraid of the consequences as he's attached to star in Jungle.

The psychological thriller is based on Yossi Ghinsberg's memoir about an ill-fated trip into the Amazon jungle with two friends and a guide that, suffice to say, didn't end well. The story has already been turned into a docudrama called I Shouldn't Be Alive for the US Discovery channel but now Mclean has a script in hand from Justin Monjo that will ramp up the terror levels.

With the film's distribution rights available to potential buyers at the European Film Market, Mclean is aiming to start shooting later this year in Australia and elsewhere.

Radcliffe caused a splash this year at Sundance, with Swiss Army Man, in which he plays a farting corpse. He'll next be seen here in illusionist heist sequel Now You See Me 2, playing Walter. His farting status in that is, as of this writing, unknown.
