With only two days to go before Cloverfield's release in the US, an online manga comic has turned up with a little bit of background to the movie. You can click here to see it, but be warned that it's all in japanese and you'll need Flash player.
The comic, which translations of the website say is intended as the first of four installments, contains no view of the monster, but is sort of background to the early events of the movie*.
