In a relatively short time, Jac Shaeffer has become a stalwart of Marvel's creative team. She's already worked on the script for Captain Marvel and the still-in-development Black Widow film, and is now on board to lead the writing team for the Vision And Scarlet Witch TV series.
Marvel has been putting together a variety of series for the Disney+ streaming service, delivering shows featuring MCU characters including Tom Hiddleston's Loki and one featuring a Falcon/Winter Soldier team-up. The show about Vision and Scarlet Witch is expected to star Paul Bettany and Elizabeth Olsen and will chronicle an adventure with the two not seen on the big screen. Shaeffer is aboard to write the pilot and act as executive producer of the eventual series.
Shaeffer got the Black Widow job around a year ago, and these days the film is currently in pre-production with Cate Shortland as director. As for Captain Marvel, that will be on our screens on 8 March.
