Baseballs And Steroids

A controversial sports memoir adapted

Because America just can’t get enough of films about its national pastime, another baseball movie is in the works.

Bit this one will be a little bit more controversial than most. Jose Canseco’s tell-all book Juiced: Wild Times, Rampant ‘Roids, Smash Hits And How Baseball Got Big follows his rise from a small-time farm team to Major League glory and his use of anabolic steroids. And he goes further – taking credit for introducing other players to the banned substances and crediting the drugs for his career.

Snow Days writer Kipp Marcus will adapt the book for Nine Yards Entertainment, though there’s no word on a cast or director yet.
