Back To The Future Is Back Back Back

As a video game, anyway…

Back To The Future Is Back Back Back

Since it’s the 25th anniversary of Back to the Future this year, there have been a whole host of tie-in events and announcements, including a theatrical re-release here in the UK and Blu-Ray editions of the entire trilogy. And Telltale Games is ready to leap on the Mr Fusion-powered bandwagon with its new video game.

While it was announced back in June alongside a **Jurassic Park **title, we now have a few more details about the BTTF game, including the fact that co-writer/producer Bob Gale is involved in churning out the plots for the five “episodes" of the experience (which should arrive on multiple formats later this year or early next) after working with the developers.

And to give it an even better sense of the movie, Christopher Lloyd is voicing Doc Brown. No word on whether Michael J Fox has been tempted back to bring Marty to life, but maybe he’s busier. And whether he contributes or not, Marty will be part of the game.

Little else is known at this point, besides the fact that the DeLorean and Hill Valley are both featured (because let’s face it, you can’t have **Back to the Future **without those).

Now all we really need is the auto-lace sneakers from Back to the Future II. At least we know Nike is working on the idea…
