As we grow ever closer to the release of Robert Rodriguez’s Alita: Battle Angel, we're finally getting a feel for the film's slick future aesthetic. A live-action adaptation of the legendary manga, Rodriguez's movie is now just three months away and we have a brand new image to celebrate. The shot below shows Alita herself facing off against a Centurion, The Factory's mechanical enforcers, who patrol the streets of Iron City.

And if that's not enough, the film's brand new trailer also dropped today, giving you even more Alita goodness to feast your oversized eyes on.

Rosa Salazar stars as the eponymous cyborg, rescued from a scrapyard by Christoph Waltz’s Dr. Ido and on the run from a band of cybernetic hunters. The movie is released in the UK on 6 February next year. Head this way to read Empire's interview with Rodriguez, breaking down the film's vibrant world.
