An eccentric alien makes an earthling friends while resisting the tyranny of a dastardly dictator in this charming animated adaptation of Tomi Ungerer’s much-loved book. The graphics are sublime, but the menace and the message might be more forcefully expressed.

Benevolent character Moon Man (Thalbach) looks down on an adoring world unaware of the esteemed in which he's held. Lonely and craving company he heads to Earth. But once there, he finds an intolerant president spoiling for a battle.
