The Liability Review

Image for The Liability

A young wannabe hitman (O'Connell) is thrown together with an altogether more jaundiced counterpart (Roth). To the younger man, it seems like a natural passing of the torch, until an innocent woman stumbles into the aftermath of their hit and things quickly sour.

Adam (Jack O'Connell), a 19 year-old with aspirations to become a hitman, finds his dreams coming true in a way he couldn’t have expected when he hooks up with Roy (Tim Roth), a trigger man who wants to give it up. A blackly effective British road movie fuelled by the easy chemistry between the two leads.

Like Sightseers shorn of its laugh, this is bleakly effective British fare that's not shy of asking tough questions.
