Keeping Rosy Review

Driven and ruthless, Charlotte (Peake) lives a coldly successful life divided between the office and Elysium Towers, her modernist home. But all of it quickly unravels when security guard Roger (Harrison) enters her life.

Maxine Peake delivers a performance the material scarcely deserves in this far-fetched thriller about a starchy executive who turns schemer and surrogate mum after accidentally killing her cleaner. Slickly done, but plausibility is deluged by endless contrivance.

There's the hallmarks of a decent thriller in the set-up, and Peake is terrific, but the execution is purest hooey.
