Original Title:

Keeping Rosy

Maxine Peake delivers a performance the material scarcely deserves in this far-fetched thriller about a starchy executive who turns schemer and surrogate mum after accidentally killing her cleaner. Slickly done, but plausibility is deluged by endless contrivance.

There's the hallmarks of a decent thriller in the set-up, and Peake is terrific, but the execution is purest hooey.
