Go West Review

Confidence trickster S. Quentin Quale heads way out West to seek his fortune, and is in turn duped out of his cash by two dodgy brothers at the train station. Only they're heading out West too, where all manner of adventure awaits.

The train being broken up for fuel as it speeds along is the justly famous ending, but what goes before it is mostly disappointing with the chaps getting a change of scenery and costumes but still playing second fiddle to their standard late period brand of young folks in trouble.

Highlights in amongst the padding include Chico and Harpo swindling Groucho at the start, Harpo in the saloon and a quick bit of handiwork aboard a crowded stagecoach involving the pompous villain's hat.

All the usual Marx brothers thrills and spills with some timeless moments
