The story of respected German General Erwin Rommel whose expert and ruthless manner on the battlefield earned and revolutionary leadership of led to him being remembered as one of the greatest military generals of the twentieth century.

James Mason wears an open-necked shirt and stands up in his tank as everyone’s favourite Nazi, Field Marshal Erwin Rommel, in this biopic, which follows Rommel through the last days of the North Africa campaign, his return to a crumbling Germany and the bomb plot against Hitler.

A more than watchable biopic which rewards the enthusiast
