Original Title:

Death Machine

A solidly entertaining, British, futuristic, techno-thriller in which psycho scientist Brad Douriff creates the ultimate fighting weapon, the eponymous Death Machine, in the basement of the Chaank corporation’s HQ, much to the chagrin of new boss Ely Pougeut and the group of pacifist freedom fighters who’ve come to raid the building. Derivative of everything from The Terminator to Hardware to RoboCop — with the Death Machine itself a metal version of the Alien Queen from Aliens — this belies its smallish budget with some frenzied editing, neat special effects and a excruitatingly loud thrash soundtrack.

Fellini this ain't, but all the better for it.
