Stressed-out advertising executive Dudley Moore is committed to a mental institution only for his employers to demand release when his frivolous ad campaigns turn into an overnight success.
He wants to stay put with fellow loonie Darryl Hannah, so enlists the inmates to help run an advertising empire from inside the asylum and the crazies become the toast of Madison Avenue.
Directed by Tony Bill and written by Mitch Markowitz, there are far worse comedies than Crazy People out there on the market and Dudley Moore's adverts are, at times, pretty darn hilarious.
