Change Of Habit

Change Of Habit was one of the films in which an attempt was made to change Presley’s lighthearted movie image, leading to this unlikely story that has The King playing a young doctor working in a ghetto whose opinions are changed by three nuns.

Not a terribly good example of Elvis at his prime, made over five years after such Elvis-at-his-prime films as Jailhouse Rock, Love Me Tender or Viva Las Vegas, this is still one for the collector.

Could have been better with a better script, though.

Everyone other than true Elvis fans will have left the building before this one is out.
