Like the members of a rock supergroup taking a break to make solo albums, the current Saturday Night Live stars are all seizing the chance of a big-screen moment. Sadly, Will Forte and telly colleague Kristen Wiig score zero laughs with this infantile Farrellys wannabe.
In order to coax their father out of a coma, social misfit siblings Dean (Forte) and John (the normally dependable Will Arnett) pay a willing woman (Wiig) to supply him with a grandchild. Audiences will need an epidural to endure the excruciating pain of watching this geek-and-jerk combo stumble through three trimesters.
