Branded To Kill

An absurdist parody of action movies in general and the yakuza genre in particular, this was the ridiculously prolific and unrepentantly iconoclastic Seijun Suzuki’s 40th film. It’s confusing as hell, but also visually dazzling, stylistically anarchic and endlessly entertaining.

Stylish and action packed, Suzuki's 40th is worth a watch.
