We've had a variety of teasers, trailers, character posters and image teases for Blade Runner 2049, and with the film's release fast approaching, you might think it's a little late for a poster. Still, the new one is up...
Set 30 years after the original, 2049 follows LAPD Blade Runner K (Ryan Gosling) discovering a long-buried secret that launches him on a quest to find Rick Deckard (Harrison Ford), a former member of the team who has been missing for the past three decades. Naturally, there are huge revelations to come, but so far most of them have been kept quiet by the trailers and other presentations, including the cast and director Denis Villeneuve when they appeared at this year's San Diego Comic-Con.
There remains an awful lot of pressure on the new film to live up to the original, to expand the universe while keeping it intact. We'll find out how successful all involved have been on 6 October.
