Lesbian lovers Lenni and Stella accidentally kill Lenni's posh, snobby mum at the gas station where they work and go on the run, intending to hide the body en route - but their attempts to cover up the crime spark off a chain of events that leaves their own lives in danger.
This low-budget thriller, based on the novel by Elena Stancanelli, plays as a kind of Italian answer to Thelma & Louise, lifted by one or two surreal touches and Regina Orioli's performance as a nervy young thing haunted by the ghost of her deceased parent. But ultimately the final twist is too predictable.
