Battle Company: Korengal

Catching up with the troopers featured in Restrepo, this offers some poignant and disturbing insights into frontline life. However, despite visceral moments, it often feels like an excuse to use footage that didn’t make the 2010 film.

The death of Hetherington in Libya imbues this Restrepo follow-up with pathos - as do the brutal conditions endured by its subjects.
