Back To The Garden

On the anniversary of an actor’s death, friends gather for a weekend of old wounds and fresh starts. Set in rural Kent, Jon Sanders’ bittersweet improv drama carries a calm power that slowly surfaces through long, open takes — a freedom relished by a mordantly funny Bob Goody.

Much better than the am-dram washout it could so easily have been, there's nuggets of truth and wisdom in this lo-fi drama.
