This loving documentary on Muhammad Ali — not just boxing’s greatest but a 20th-century cultural colossus — has interviews with family, friends, iconic figures and former foes, plus a wealth of footage reminding us of the formidable Ali’s beauty, humour, courage and charisma. Parkinson’s disease has rendered him too frail and speechless now to participate on camera, but his personal archives include priceless phone conversations and home movies. A delightful record of an incredible man, it maybe goes overboard in hagiography, but is revealing, wonderfully funny and honestly moving.
