Mia Wasikowska Talks Stoker And Matthew Goode on Park Chan-wook's movie

| |
Five Empire stars worth of stylised Southern gothic, Stoker is a more than welcome return for Korean master Park Chan-wook. Chan-wook, or 'Director Park' as his cast respectfully refer to him, has constructed a meticulous, creepy and nearly impossible to define movie that should shake cinemagoers from their winter slumbers - and then some. Still, being contrary types, we went along to ask two of its leads - Matthew Goode and Mia Wasikowska - to define it. We also asked them whether they're scared of spiders, what it's like to be directed via interpreter and what their favourite thing to stoke is. Well, we asked them two of those things anyway.
