We’ve never actually played the game, but it apparently involves collecting four cards (one of them, slightly curiously, featuring the Imam) in order to win. The coolest thing about this particular toy is that it features development artwork by Steranko on the lid. A Temple Of Doom board game was also produced, with very confusing rules.
