The Quotable Lines Indy's dialogue has always managed to be self-referential without being sly and, though all written by different screenwriters, the films have maintained a consistent witty voice. Handily, you can take almost any line and use it in daily life: "I'm making it up as I go along"; "It's not the years, honey, it's the mileage"; "You have chosen...wisely"; "Hold on to your potatoes!" You won't look nearly so cool saying them, but it's fun to try.
