A worthy sequel to the first US Army training sim.
A sequel to the first video game based on a US Army training simulator, Ten Hammers hones the strategic action with a myriad new moves and tweaked control interface that makes it easier to command your fireteams. The inclusion of new precision attacks, that allow
you to take the position of one of your soldiers and snipe a tricky insurgent, also make for more immersive battles and help widen the series appeal.
Ironically, though, the control limitations of the original FSW made for some of the games best moments impossibly tense situations that conveyed the panic of armed combat in unknown territory, but which are easier to avoid in the new edition.
