Dynasty Warriors Review

Dynasty Warriors

Sadly nothing to do with oil tycoons, shoulder pads or Joan Collins, Dynasty Warriors is a simple hack-and-slash brawler set in ancient China, where three bloodthirsty factions are fighting for control of the emerging nation.

Like the myriad console editions, PSP Dynasty Warriors thrusts players into grandiose battles with hundreds of sword-swinging enemies, requiring you to do little more than bash buttons to progress through the gory levels. But while PS2 DW battles can take anything up to an hour to complete, the skirmishes in this PSP edition have been broken into manageable, bize-sized chunks, perfect if you fancy a quick rumble that doesn’t require much thought, strategy or even skill.
