Film synopsis FBI agent Sarah Ashburn (Bullock) is sent to Boston to track down a drug lord, Larkin. When she’s forced to work with local cop Shannon Mullins (McCarthy), the pair quickly come to blows, but bond as the investigation continues. With two sexist DEA agents also on Larkin’s tail, can the women get there first?

Barely tepid.
It's not all bad. Okay, it's mostly bad, but the chemistry between McCarthy and Bullock is pretty good, and there are plenty of chuckles and a couple of guffaws. Some of the gags work; the film doesn't. Your mileage will vary. Oh, and the Deee-Lite sequence in the bar is one of the most embarrassing things I have ever seen.  More
