Film synopsis Mei (Chan), a ten year-old Chinese maths genius, is brought to New York by Triads. After she has memorised a number code, Mei is abducted by Russian mobsters, but escapes. Luke Wright (Statham), a down-and-out city man, sees the girl being chased and intervenes, ultimately setting him against the Triads, the Russians, crooked cops and the Mayor.

Excellent Action Movie
My girlfriend and I saw this at a preview at Bristol Vue and loved it. Okay, it's not high art, but it does everything it sets out to do and with plenty of imagination and attention to detail. The fight and car chase scenes are great, with plenty of invention - I particularly liked the use of plates and rear view mirrors. Jason Statham is as watchable as ever and it's great to see James Hong again. There was a great audience reaction in our cinema as well, with lots of audible winces at all the More
