Film synopsis A remake of the 1956 original, about a group of astronauts sent to check up on a remote science colony. Upon arrival they find only the scientist and his daughter alive, with their robot servant Robby, with the rest of the colony apparently killed by a strange and terrifying creature which roams the landscape - the crew of the spaceship must learn what the monster is, how the doc survived it all this time, and what secrets are being kept from them before the creature destroys them all.
