Film synopsis A married silkworm smuggler, Herve Joncour, travels to Japan where he becomes obsessed with the European concubine of a local baron. Despite not speaking the same language they write letters to each other until war intervenes and Joncour’s wife Helene begins to suspect.

Could be interesting.
Depnding on when this film is set it could be a potentially great drama if they nail the beauty of Japan in the cinematography. Knightley can hold her own as she proved in Pride and Prejudice but whether the on screen chemistry between her and Michael Pitt wiill work remains to be seen. Looking forward though.  More
