 Live and Let Die gets my vote because its one of the few times the used the music from the song for some of the action sequences instead of riffing on the Monty Norman Theme over and over.

I can't decide between the following:

  • Live and Let Die
  • The Man With the Golden Gun
  • A View to a Kill
  • You Only Live Twice


Since Golden Eye the theme songs have been c***!!! IMO

O.H.M.S.S.  - because it's pure John Barry! 

You Only  Live Twice - blended in perfectly with the movie

Goldfinger - Dah-dah-dah! (sing it!)

There were also a couple of songs by The Pretenders in Living Daylights which were great.

What about the instrumental version of From Russia With Love? It works excellent in the film.
Other than that Id have to plump for You Only Live Twice, and the retro pair of View To A Kill and The Living Daylights.

It's between O.H.M.S.S., "You Only Live Twice" & "Licence To Kill".

Another couple of end credit themes that blew my socks off were:

"If There Was A Man" by The Pretenders (Living Daylights)
"Surrender" by K.D.Lang (Tomorrow Never Dies)

Licence to Kill (underrated song and film), Goldfinger, live and Let Die and Nobody Does It Better are fantastic but my favourite is....

 My personal favourite of all the Bond themes has to be Nobody Does it Better- one of my favourite songs from Carly Simon!
But I also like others, like Russia with Love, Goldfinger, Goldeneye, and The Living Daylights- I like my Ah-Ha!

That program was indeed very good,some interesting facts {Alice Cooper did a Man With The Golden Gun theme song} and it was rather refreshing and honest to see some of the parties,such as John Barry and A-Ha,actually slagging each other off. I would dispute the order of course,for example I've never been a huge fan of the Goldfinger song which was No.1! My top five Bond themes are

1/ We Have All the Time In The World ,simply one of the best love songs ever,and I don't usually like love songs!

2/  On Her Majesty's Secret Service main theme-one of the most glorious action themes ever

3/  Live And Let Die-such an original song but it works so well

4/ You Only Live Twice-lovely and exotic

5  007 Theme-I don't mean the 'Bond Theme' but the action theme that appears in From Russia With Love,Thunderball,You Only Live Twice,Diamonds Are Forever and Moonraker {for example it's played during the Little Nellie sequence in YOLT},I'd love to see David Arnold come up with an alternate action theme like that!
